Navigating to the Pickup Location

  1. Launch the Driver App: After accepting a booking, the passenger's pickup location will appear on the map. Make sure your app is updated for the latest traffic data and mapping accuracy.

  2. Use the App’s GPS Functionality: Tap the "Navigate" button to get GPS-guided directions via platforms like Waze or Google Maps, which are integrated with most ride-hailing apps. In Metro Manila and other urban areas, the traffic can be unpredictable, so it's important to follow the real-time navigation.

  3. Check for Landmark-Based Instructions: In the Philippines, riders often provide landmark-based directions due to the complex road networks and the presence of one-way streets or small roads that might not be easily visible on the map. Pay attention to these details in the app's messaging feature.

  4. Follow Local Traffic Rules: Make sure to follow all traffic regulations, especially regarding U-turns, no-parking zones, or loading/unloading zones, which are strictly enforced in cities like Manila and Cebu.

  5. Communicate with the Rider: If you're close but unsure of the exact pickup point, use the in-app messaging or call the rider to confirm their location, especially if they’re at a busy area like a mall, office building, or street corner.

  6. Wait in Safe Zones: In areas like airports, malls, or central business districts, follow designated pick-up points for ride-hailing vehicles. In busy cities, unauthorized parking or stopping can result in fines or penalties.
