When a nearby passenger requests a trip, you will receive a notification on your app. This includes:
The pickup location.
The estimated fare or distance (depending on the app).
A time limit to accept or decline the request.
2. Accepting a Request:
You typically have a few seconds to decide. Simply tap "Accept" to confirm. Once accepted, the rider’s detailed pickup location becomes visible.
3. Ride Notification Types:
Standard Ride Request: A typical ride request with a clear pickup and drop-off location.
Scheduled Ride Requests: These are pre-booked rides that will appear with a future pickup time.
Surge Pricing Alerts: Notifications about surge pricing in areas of high demand.
Passenger Updates: Changes in pickup locations or cancellation alerts.
4. Notifications:
You’ll receive different notifications while driving, including:
Ride Accepted: Confirms the ride request you’ve accepted.
Arrival Notification: Prompts you when you’ve reached the pickup point.
Passenger Cancellation: Alerts you if the passenger cancels the ride before you arrive.
New Ride Requests: If you are on a trip, you may get notifications for back-to-back rides or rides queued for you once you complete the current trip.
