Can’t Receive Ride or Driver Notifications

If you’re not getting alerts for driver updates, ride status, or messages, you may miss important information about your booking. Try the steps below to fix it. 


Common signs of notification issues

  • No alert when a driver accepts your booking
  • Not receiving messages or calls from the driver
  • Missing updates (arrival, trip start, trip end)
  • Notifications delayed or not showing at all


Quick fixes to try first

  • Check your internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data)
  • Restart the app or your device
  • Make sure your phone is not on silent or Do Not Disturb mode


Check notification settings

Enable app notifications

  • Go to your device Settings > Notifications > [App Name]
  • Make sure notifications are turned ON
  • Enable alerts for:
    • Ride updates
    • Messages
    • Promotions (optional)


Allow permissions

  • Ensure the app has permission for:
    • Notifications
    • Phone (for calls)
    • SMS (if OTP or alerts are sent via text)


Check battery and background settings

  • Disable battery saver or power-saving mode for the app
  • Allow the app to run in the background
  • On some devices, turn off app restrictions or “sleep mode” for the app 


Update or refresh the app

  • Update to the latest version
  • Log out and log back in if needed
  • Reinstall the app if the issue persists
