What To Do If Something Goes Wrong During a Trip

We hope every trip goes smoothly, but here's what to do if it doesn't:


If you feel unsafe during a ride:

  • Ask the driver to stop at the nearest safe, public location (a mall, gas station, police station).

  • Use the Emergency SOS button in the app to alert your contact.

  • Call 911 if you are in immediate danger.

  • After the incident, report it to Okito immediately through Help Center > Submit a Ticket or our hotline.


If your driver is rude or unprofessional:

  • You don't have to tolerate it. After the trip, rate the driver and include a comment describing what happened.

  • You can also submit a formal complaint through the Help Center.


? All reports are taken seriously. Okito reviews complaints and takes appropriate action against partners who violate our standards.
