If you need to update or switch the vehicle linked to your driver account, you can do so بسهولة through the app. Keeping your vehicle information accurate ensures compliance and avoids disruptions while accepting rides.
How to update your vehicle details
- Log in to your driver account
Open the Okito Driver App and sign in - Go to Vehicle Settings
Navigate to Profile or Account Settings, then select Vehicle Information - Select “Edit” or “Change Vehicle”
Choose the option to update or replace your current vehicle - Enter new vehicle details
Provide accurate information such as:- Vehicle make and model
- Year
- Color
- Plate number
- Upload required documents
Submit updated documents for verification:- OR/CR (Official Receipt & Certificate of Registration)
- Insurance
- Photos of the vehicle (if required)
- Submit for review
Review all details and tap Submit or Update
What happens next?
- Your request will go through a verification process
- You may be temporarily unable to accept rides until approval is completed
- Once approved, your new vehicle details will be updated in your account
Important reminders
- Ensure your new vehicle meets Okito’s vehicle requirements
- All documents must be valid and clearly uploaded
- Do not operate using a vehicle that is not registered in your account
Switching vehicles temporarily
- Some platforms allow multiple vehicles under one account (if enabled)
- Make sure to select the active vehicle before going online
