What to do if your driver cancels

Driver cancellations can happen occasionally due to traffic, emergencies, or other constraints. If this happens, don’t worry—you still have options to get your ride. 


What happens after a cancellation

  • You’ll receive a notification that your driver has canceled
  • The app may automatically look for another driver nearby
  • Your pickup and destination details will remain saved


What you can do next

1. Wait for a new driver (if auto-matching is enabled)

  • Stay on the booking screen while the app searches for another driver
  • You’ll be notified once a new driver accepts your request

2. Book again manually

  • If no driver is assigned, simply tap “Book Again”
  • Review your pickup and drop-off details before confirming

3. Check your location and settings

  • Make sure your pickup pin is accurate
  • Move to a more accessible or less congested area if possible


Tips to avoid cancellations

  • Choose a clear and safe pickup point
  • Be ready at the pickup location once a driver is assigned
  • Respond promptly if the driver calls or messages you 


 Important reminders

  • You are not charged if the driver cancels
  • Frequent cancellations in high-demand areas may affect wait times
  • If you notice repeated cancellations, you can report it through Help / Support
