How to Book Your First Ride (OK! Ride)
Ready to book? Here's how your first ride works:
Open the Okito app and tap 'OK! Ride' on the home screen.
Enter your pick-up location. If it doesn't auto-detect your location, type it in manually.
Enter your drop-off address.
Choose your vehicle: 4-seater (regular) or 6-seater (for bigger groups or more luggage).
Check the fare breakdown shown on screen — this includes the base fare, distance cost, and time cost.
Add a promo code or coupon if you have one. SC/PWD/Student discounts are available — see the Discounts article for details.
Choose your payment method: Cash or GCash.
Optionally, add a tip for your driver.
Tap 'Confirm Booking'.
Wait a moment — the system will match you with an available driver nearby.
Once matched, you'll see the driver's name, vehicle, plate number, and their real-time location on the map.
- Your Ride Passcode will appear on screen once a driver is matched. Keep it handy — your driver will ask for it when they arrive to confirm it's you.
- Tip: If no driver is available in your area, you can try again after a few minutes or use QR Code Booking at a nearby terminal.
